What are Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s) for a child?

Category: • July 30, 2020

ADL’s are all the little chores that make up our habits and routines during a regular day.  ADL’s for kids include following daily routines, playing, age appropriate interactions with peers and adults, dressing, eating, hand-washing, using the bathroom, brushing hair and teeth. OT can help your child achieve independence that is appropriate for their age and cognitive abilities.
